Online Course Registration for the 2019-2020 School year has begun.
Teachers made course recommendations for core graduation classes the week of December 10, 2018 (Math, English, Social Studies, Science and World Language). If a student would like to waive into another course, the form will be available in January. Please make sure to have a discussion with the teacher and/or counselor to make the best decision for your student. The request window is open from January 7th – 18th. All rising 9th – 12th grade students can enter their course requests through HCPSS connect.
Students should have received a list of their teacher recommendations. All recommendations are locked and cannot be changed by the student. If you have any concerns and/or want to change any of the course recommendations, you can complete the Course Placement Review. The Course Placement Review is on the reverse side of the High School Course Registration Form, and are due to Student Services by January 18th.
All students should request a total of 7 credits and 3 alternates. After January 18th, when all the requests are in, they will be locked and the students must contact their counselor in order to make any changes.
If you have any questions about this process, please contact your students counselor. School counselors will be meeting with their students beginning on January 8th. All students should have received their counseling appointment time in the form of a pass.
