Today during Raider Time, seniors received a graduation packet of dates, details, and instructions for senior events, as well as a senior exam schedule. Can my senior still order a cap/gown and other graduation accessories?
Yes, as of today, April 11, 2018, caps/gowns/tassels, announcements, and other accessories can be ordered for an increased rush order price at www.balfour.com. Caps/gowns must be ordered ASAP as these are custom-made specialty gowns, not stock items.

What if my family cannot afford a cap/gown for my senior?
Please call or email your counselor or Ms. Hutchens (joann_hutchens@hcpss.org), and include your senior’s name, height, and weight along with your request for financial assistance.
 
Can a parent/guardian present the diploma to his/her senior at the ceremony?
Only a parent or guardian who is a permanent employee of the Howard County Public School System in any capacity may present his or her child’s diploma at Atholton High School’s 2018 Commencement Ceremony. If this applies to you and you have not already done so, please make a joint decision whether to take advantage of the opportunity.
