Markea Kelly

Ms. Kelly has been an educator for 22 years. She earned her undergraduate degree in English and Journalism at Bowie State University. She later returned to her alma mater to earn a Masters in the Art of Teaching in 2007. Ms. Kelly began her career as an English teacher for Prince George’s County Public Schools where she also served as a track coach, class sponsor, graduation coordinator, African Student Association sponsor, and Fashion Club sponsor. After 16 years of teaching in Prince George's County, Ms. Kelly came to HCPSS  to teach English at Howard High in 2016. She ’deeply values the importance of education, and is excited to contribute to the educational experience of the students at Atholton.
