Why shouldn't I just use Google to find all my answers?
The information in the databases is often more reliable because the sources are pre-screened and edited.
Why aren't the passwords for the databases on the website?
Access to the databases is purchased by the State of Maryland and Howard County for usage by Howard County Public School students and staff only. The passwords are listed on pages 10-11 in the front of the AHS Agenda Book.
How many computers are available for student use?
30 in the media center, 34 in Lab A and 30 dual platform laptops in Lab B..
How many books do you have?
We have approximately 12,000 books.
How do I request a book that is not in the media center?
Talk with a media specialist to have it reserved at the public library.
