Attention SENIORS: Graduating Class of 2022 Information

The commencement for the AHS Class of 2022 will take place on THURSDAY, JUNE 2, 2022 at 11:00am at Merriweather Post Pavilion 10475 Little Patuxent Pkwy, Columbia, MD 21044.

Graduation Tickets will be distributed from the MEDIA CENTER on Tuesday, May 24, Wednesday, May 25 and Thursday, May 26 to students who do not have any financial obligations and return their Chromebook and charger.
How many tickets are seniors allocated for graduation? The answer is TEN. Each student in the Class of 2022 will be given TEN tickets for the commencement ceremony on June 2. Anyone seeking more than this allocation must contact Robert_Motley@hcpss.org.

SENIOR AWARDS CEREMONY:
The Senior Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 26th at 7pm in the AHS auditorium. All seniors are welcome to attend; however, only those seniors that are receiving a standing award or a stage award will receive an invitation to attend.
SENIOR END OF YEAR SCHEDULE:
Remember! Plan to go to the MEDIA CENTER when called during 5th or 6th period on Tuesday or Wednesday, and on Thursday, you will have all afternoon to turn in items as all seniors are scheduled to be here for the final dress rehearsals and the luncheon. Some of you without a 5th and 6th period this year do not need to worry as Thursday is meant for you!
Also, Ms. Fowler, AHS bookkeeper, will be here to collect any payments you need to make on these or any other items, so we will be a one-stop shop for you in the media center.
Please do not wait until the last minute to clear obligations. If you have any questions or special circumstances you want to share about books, Chromebooks, or Chromebook chargers, please stop by the Media Center.

JUNIOR / SENIOR PROM: A Night Under The Stars
Date: Saturday, May 7, 2022
Time: 7:30-10:30pm, students must arrive by 8:30 to be admitted
Place: Marriott Waterfront Hotel, 700 Aliceanna Street Baltimore, MD 21202
Ticket Price: $100 per ticket, includes dinner, dessert and dancing
Ticket Sales:
*If buying a ticket for a non-AHS student guest, the guest request form, demographics form, and a copy of their photo ID must be submitted by 4/29, before the ticket will be distributed. Simply paying for a ticket online does not guarantee your guest will be approved for admission to the prom.

Guest Requests: If bringing a non-AHS student, please complete this Guest Request Form prior to purchasing a ticket.

Guest request forms (and demographics page if the guest is an HCPSS student) are DUE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, APRIL 29.
For any guest who attends an HCPSS school, a copy of their “demographics” page from Synergy must be included with this request form. (The guest’s home school Administrator will print this page.) For any non-HCPSS guest, a copy of the guest’s photo ID (school ID, Driver’s License) must be attached before approval is granted and a guest ticket is purchased.

Friday, April 22 from 7 pm - 9 pm in the Courtyard at Atholton High School
The $30 ticket includes a t-shirt, all-you-can-eat food (crabs & a lot more), and other activities. Buy your tickets ASAP!
